#Studio_preview #Oldworld Гномы для Олд Ворлда - даже с новинками! https://www.warhammer-community.com/2024/03/21/adepticon-preview-the-dwarfen-mountain-holds/ AdeptiCon Preview – The Dwarfen Mountain Holds No sooner have the Orc & Goblin Tribes reared their nasty heads across the Old World than do their ancestral enemies emerge with ale in their bellies, grudges in their hearts, and blackpowder in their magazines. It’s the Dwarfen Mountain Holds, and there are so many of them, this is all the preamble you’re getting. Battalion and Accessories It begins, as things always do, with a jam-packed Battalion Box. The Dwarf version contains 66 miniatures – 32 obdurate Dwarf Warriors, 32 Dwarf Quarrellers (which can also be built as Thunderers), and two Gyrocopters (which can be built as Gyrobombers). It’s an impressive core for any Dwarfen army – and it’s only just the beginning. Any budding thane will want to get his hands on the ancient wisdom contained in Arcane Journal: Dwarfen Mountain Holds, a 48-page treatise containing the full information on what the Dwarfen kingdoms are up to during this time period, two Armies of Infamy, a handful of extra units and magical items, and two special characters whom you may remember from Warhammer Fantasy Battles. The Reference Cards pack covers all the Runes, plus useful rules and Anvil of Doom abilities, while the dice will demonstrate your pride as a Dawi. New Miniatures There are four totally new miniatures for the Dwarfs this time. The first two of these are Dwarf Lords who arrive in the same box – one Lord borne aloft by Shieldbearers, and the other on foot. The kit allows for one great weapon and one axe and shield, has interchangeable heads – and it comes in plastic. In Forge World resin comes the Dwarf Thane with Handgun. He’s striking a pose on an Oathstone, which makes him Immune to Psychology and forces enemies to accept his Challenges. Also in Forge World resin is a face you might just recognise… It’s Ungrim Ironfist. He’s still the Slayer King of Karak Kadrin, but he strikes a younger and more limber figure as the first character to return to the World of Legend with a glorious new model. Will he be the last? Who’s to say… Plastic Kits There is a throng of Dwarfen units returning to the range in plastic: Ironbreakers, Hammerers, Warriors, Miners, and Quarrelers. That’s not all. These regiments are joined by the Slayer of Legend, the King on Oathstone, the Runesmith, the Gyrocopter, and the Cannons (which also build Organ Guns). Forge World Resin Kits There’s just one set of miniatures returning in Forge World resin, but they’re a doozy. It’s the much-missed Dwarf Command Set, containing a Lord, a Thane with Battle Standard, and a Slayer of Legend. Metal Kits It’s amid the returning metal miniatures that some of the true longbeards (classic sculpts rather than the elite infantry unit) make an appearance. But we’ll start with the ordnance: the Grudge Thrower, the Bolt Thrower, the Flame Cannon, the Anvil of Doom, and a group of Master Engineers to buff them. Then there are the classic Slayers dating back to the early 90s, as well as Slayer Command, the slightly more recent Doomseekers, and even the Goblin-Hewer! Finally, there’s a selection of Imperial Dwarfs and their Command – also from the early 90s – and Josef Bugman’s Cart to round it all off. Made to Order Lastly, there’s the Made to Order collection, which continues the recent trek into the deepest mists of time with some iconic Dwarfs first released in the mid-1980s! Prince Ulther returns at the head of his Dragon Company in two separate sets, one containing the impetuous Prince himself, his champion Borri Forkbeard, a standard bearer, and a musician. The other contains five doughty Dwarf warriors, creating a Regiment of Renown that can be used as mercenaries by Dwarfen and Imperial armies.* On top of that, yet further into the future, there are five more sets of mighty Dwarfen legends to be Made to Order. These include a set of five metal Lords, three metal Runesmiths, four metal Dragon and Daemon Slayers, one metal Dwarf Queen, and a Lord, Thane, and Standard Bearer in resin. We can’t show them currently, but these exquisite miniatures will be very familiar to Dwarf players of a particular vintage. That’s it for the Dwarfen Mountain Holds, but there have been plenty of other reveals at AdeptiCon this week. Check them out below. * Note that their rules are not published in the Arcane Journal – these will instead be included in the box packaging.
