#News_lampPost Уже через 3 пары выходных случится Вархаммер фест 2019! Одно из крупнейших мероприятия ГВ в году. Проходит традиционно в Ковентри на Рико Арене (потому что дофига народу) И по традиции последних лет - мероприятие всё больше превращается в Ваха-Кон, потому что там будет куча всего связанного с вархаммером. Но поскольку ты живёшь в России, то для тебя важно будет 3 события (которые я учтиво выделил красными линиями в расписании) А именно - студийные обзор основных систем - 40к (Это будет самым первым - прям в субботу днем по Москве) АоС (под вечер по Мск.) и ВНЕЗАПНО, в этом году будет и студийный обзор 30К Ереси Хоруса. Раньше, они тоже показывали новинки (в 2017 например доделали Магнуса к фесту), а потом как-то загнулось, теперь вот снова будут показывать что-то новое. Скорее всего - продолжение Легионных Левиафанов, Преторов и уникумов Малеволенса. On the 11th and 12th of May, thousands of Warhammer fans will fill Coventry’s Ricoh Arena as they celebrate every aspect of our beloved Warhammer hobby – collecting, building, painting, playing and reading. There’s loads to see and do, including dozens of seminars. Head along to them to catch experts from across Games Workshop and beyond talking about all manner of topics, from building scenery to miniatures design to sneak previews of what’s coming for your favourite games. If you haven’t got your tickets for Warhammer Fest, grab them now! To secure your place at the seminars you want to attend, you’ll need to pick up wristbands for them at the event. The wristbands will be available at the Information Point until an hour before each seminar – and some of them (like the preview seminars) are likely to disappear fast, so make sure you get yours on the weekend before they’re all gone. We’ll break it down day by day and room by room to make it easier to figure out where you need to be for the seminars you want to attend. Each one lasts for an hour, so it’s really easy to plan your day around them. We’ve got a handy schedule for the whole weekend, which you can download from the link below, while if you want an in-depth description of each seminar, read on! Saturday Doors open at 10am and close at 6pm. Seminar Room 1 11am: The Warhammer 40,000 Preview Always a fan favourite, join Pete Foley for a look at the exciting things coming to the 41st Millennium over the next few months. This is definitely going to be popular, so make sure to get your wristband early! 12pm: Warhammer Age of Sigmar Lore Explore the rich legends of the Mortal Realms and the heroes who inhabit them with experts Jes Bickham, Phil Kelly and Ben Johnson. 1pm: Adeptus Titanicus, Necromunda and Blood Bowl Preview The teams behind these popular games offer a sneak peek into their future – discover new expansions, forthcoming models and more. 2pm: The Warhammer Age of Sigmar Preview Peer into the future of the Mortal Realms as Pete Foley unveils exciting new miniatures and other goodies that you’ll be seeing soon. 3pm: The Middle-earth™ Strategy Battle Game Preview Rob Alderman and Jay Clare let you gaze into the Palantír with them and see what’s planned for Middle-earth, plus there’ll be time for a Q&A session. 4pm: Warhammer 40,000 Lore Take a good hard look into the horrors of the 41st Millennium with Andy Clark and Alex Tuxford. Seminar Room 2 11am: Warhammer Age of Sigmar Rules Development Join Jervis Johnson, Louis Aguilar and Sam Pearson as they discuss bringing the Mortal Realms to life in rules – it’s sure to contain valuable insights for any fan of the game. 12pm: The Science of Paint Ever wonder what goes into formulating new paints? We bet you do now. Members of the Hobby Products team will be giving you a look at the science behind your art. 1pm: ’Eavy Metal – Abaddon and the Black Legion Max Faleij and Aiden Daly discuss bringing the arch-villain of the 41st Millennium up to date, alongside the wider Chaos Space Marines release. 2pm: How to Become a Warhammer Miniatures Designer If you dream about making the best miniatures in the world, take some advice from Chris Colston and Matt Toone, the folks who know. 3pm: How to Win a Golden Demon Okay, there’s no secret to an instant win – it takes work. But turn up and learn from the pros as they share their top tips for making your miniatures look their best. 4pm: Create Your Own Colour Schemes Max Faleij provides tips and tricks for coming up with your own paint schemes, encompassing colour theory, faction identity and how to tell a story with your army. Seminar Room 3 11am: The Horus Heresy – Malevolence Writer Anuj Malhotra and miniatures designer Will Hayes break down the latest campaign book from the Age of Darkness and highlight new characters and units. 12pm: Black Library – The Siege of Terra: The Solar War Author John French and Black Library editor Jacob Youngs discuss the opening salvo of this epic megaseries, and hint at horrors yet to come. 1pm: Black Library – The Night Haunter Guy Haley and Jacob Youngs talk about the latest novel in the Primarchs series, focusing on one of the most notorious characters of the Horus Heresy. 2pm: Creating Dioramas with the Warhammer World Studio James Karch and his team go behind the scenes to show you how they create the world-class displays in Warhammer World’s Exhibition Centre. 3pm: The Horus Heresy: Age of Darkness Q&A This is your opportunity to quiz Horus Heresy writer Anuj Malhotra on the future of the game – prepare your questions and get asking! 4pm: Warhammer Video Games Meet the people who bring the Warhammer universes to life in digital formats as Owen Rees reveals what’s in the pipeline in the world of video gaming. Seminar Room 2 11am: ’Eavy Metal – Warcry Chris Innes and Natalie Slinn discuss the gangs of the new game Warcry and how they came up with a distinct colour scheme to identify each faction. 12pm: Designing the Lord Discordant Maxime Pastourel discusses designing arguably the coolest, and unarguably the craziest, of the new Chaos Space Marines models. 2pm: How to Become a Warhammer Miniatures Designer If you want to join the world-class design team behind your favourite miniatures, come along and learn what the design supremos are looking for in new recruits. Seminar Room 3 11am: Black Library – Tales from the Mortal Realms David Guymer, Gav Thorpe and editor Richard Garton talk about the latest stories set in the Warhammer Age of Sigmar universe. 12pm: Role Playing and Card Games Cubicle 7, Ulisses Spiele and PlayFusion break down tabletop pen-and-paper roleplaying games and card games set in the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar universes. 1pm: Black Library – Creating Audio Dramas David Guymer, Gav Thorpe and Richard Garton discuss what makes serialised stories like Realmslayer and Our Martyred Lady different from novels and even other audio dramas. 2pm: Warhammer Video Games Discover the latest in digital adventures from the Warhammer universes as Owen Rees guides you through what’s hot in Warhammer video games.
